My family and I grew up in Roy and moved to Hooper when I was 10. Family has always been important in my life. Which is why the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the most important thing to me, it helps build families relationships. Growing up I had a love for drawing, I would draw dragons, soldiers, superheroes and more. My skills in pencil drawing began to flourish. I was self-taught and never took an art class until my first semester of College to fulfill a general education course. All of my drawings are freehand using no straight edges.
Along with drawing I grew up loving sports, I played soccer, baseball, basketball, football and golf. I also enjoy playing the piano and writing my own arrangements to hymns.
My parents taught my three sisters and I to love the Lord Jesus Christ and taught us the Gospel. Early on in my life I gained a deep love for the scriptures, they have had a great influence in my life in gaining knowledge that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. Along with a love for the scriptures I gained a love for the temple at age 21 I have been able to visit over 30 temples around the world.
At age 18 I served a LDS mission in the Texas San Antonio Mission. While serving I would often draw for service for others, such as drawing temples for my companions.
When I got home I met a beautiful girl in the summer, Melodie Bird. On her birthday while we were dating I gave her a drawing of the Logan Temple. We were soon engaged and then married in the Ogden Temple on December 30th. Our baby girl was born in August 2017, her name is Adilynn.
My wife is who has inspired me to share my artwork with those around me. After I gave her the drawing for her birthday others saw it and started requesting different temples which is what started me off on making this website. My wife and I attend school at Weber State University, my wife is studying Physics teachings and I am studying Marketing and taking courses to become a Seminary teacher.
